Overall Responsibility: Maintains service operations by inspecting and maintaining clubhouse, buggy house, ½ way canteens, cross over junction, guard house, old proshop, caddy shed, starter sheds and all related facilities and equipment required in providing excellent service to members and guests of Kelab Golf Miri. Operative Duties: Clubhouse, buggy house, ½ way canteens, cross over junction, guard house, caddy shed, starter sheds maintenance: - Patrol the entire clubhouse and buggy house to ensure no loss of club’s property. - Inspect and carry out minor lights switches, water taps, solar siren and ceiling as all the club’s premises. - Inspect and carry out minor repair of toilets, bathrooms and restrooms appliances at all club’s premises. - Inspect and carry out minor repair of pressure cleaners, PA system, washer, dryer and shoes cleaning facilities. - Test the functionality of the clubhouse back up water electric pump. - Report to Front desk for major repairs required on any of the above. - Clean the walkway in front and towards the toilets, fish pond, swimming pool floor area, areas surrounding the clubhouse, clubhouse main drain - Wipe lamp holders, tv, ceiing fans. - Remove cobwebs and bird nests at terrace bar, MSB, MDF rooms and surrounding the clubhouse, buggy house, starter sheds and caddy sheds - Throw rubbish to the main dumping site opposite the 18th green. - Hang festive buntings and decorations. - Mobilise supplies delivered by suppliers from unloading bay to storage area. - Arrange, clean and tidy store rooms. Swimming pool maintenance: • Operates and vacuum the swimming pool. Buggy maintenance: - Park buggies at buggy park area ready for golfer’s use. - Thorough check of buggies returned by golfers after use and drive it back to buggy house. - Wash and sanitize the buggy after each use. - Charge the buggy getting ready for next use.To promote and carry on social and sporting activities. To provide and maintain a golf course and swimming pool. To promote activities for all such other sports, games and pastimes as may from time to time being introduced. To provide the Club House, changing rooms, lavatories, kitchens, and all other appurtenances, facilities, amenities and conveniences in connection therewith, and to furnish and maintain the same and to permit the same and other property of the Club to be used by members and such other authorised persons. To purchase, provide and maintain all kinds of golf course equipment, furniture, implements, tools, linen, books, papers, periodicals, stationery, cards, games, sporting equipments and all other things required or which may conveniently be used in connection with the Club House, grounds and other premises of the Club by members and other persons frequenting the Club. To promote, carry on, and conduct provident fund, and other propositions of a like nature for the benefit of employees of the Club and to contribute thereto and to alter, vary, amend, discontinue any such provident fund, or other proposition. To hire and employ workers and to pay to them and to other persons in return for services rendered to the Club, salaries and wages.
