About the role

An opportunity has become available for an organised and dilent administrator to join the Management Department Administration Team in the role of Administrative Officer. The Administrative Officer will provie a range of administrative, secretarial and project support, contributing to the efficient operation of the Management Department. This role will be the primary point of contact for enquiries, and will work across several administration activities associated with the operation of the Management Department. In this role you will be responsible for: • Assist with delivering a full range of administrative functions related to the annual cycle of Management Dept operations, and ad hoc tasks as required• Assist with streamlining of processes using technology where possible and think creatively about how we can enhance the student experience and delivery excellent support to students and to the administrative and academic teams.• Work collaboratively as an effective and flexible member of the team, provide support to all team members, meet team standards by completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner. • Apply relevant policies, practices, and standards to organize and prioritize work, while using judgment to solve problems arising in your work.• Maintain Department’s SharePoint site and equivalent and related systems as directed.• Resolve a range of staff and student problems related to administrative systems, students, or course matters in a timely manner, displaying initiative and a service focus. With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet all the selection criteria points: • Ability to manage key stakeholder relationships both internal and external with diplomacy and tact in a pressured environment.• Demonstrated ability to priorities tasks, meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of quality and accuracy.• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal format.• Demonstrated ability to review processes and contribute to improved operations.• Proficiency in hands-on practice with Power Platform and Microsoft 365 tools or similar technologies in real-world scenarios. (desirable)• Proven experience in coordinating the integration of Microsoft platform into administrative or education-related processes. Remuneration & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $76,936 to $88,015 pa (HEW 5) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities. This position is full-time and an appointment will be on a contining basis.
